Look after your print and it will look sharp for years. A few simple rules keep the colour vivid and stop it cracking or fading early.
Washing
Do
- Wash inside out, cool or warm, thirty degrees or below
- Use a gentle or normal cycle
- Wash similar colours together
- Leave the print to fully dry before wearing again
Avoid
- Bleach or fabric softener directly on the print
- Hot washes above thirty degrees
- Scrubbing or wringing the printed area
Drying
Do
- Air dry, ideally inside out
- Dry away from direct, strong sunlight
Avoid
- Tumble drying on high heat over the print
- Drying flat against a hot radiator
Ironing
Do
- Iron inside out on a low heat
- Iron around the print, not directly on it
Avoid
- Ironing directly on top of the printed design
- High heat or steam straight onto the print
Fading and normal wear
Full colour prints are built to last with correct care, but no print is immune to time. Regular washing, sunlight, and everyday wear will cause any print to fade gradually, the same as the fabric around it. This is normal and expected, not a fault.
